Ship owners and managers can embark or disembark officers, repair engineers/technicians, superintendents and crew off Brixham, either at anchor or while underway.
Brixham is approximately 24 hours passage to/from Rotterdam and approximately 40 hours passage to/from Hamburg. This passage time can be used to allow handover time for senior officers and allow engineers to complete repairs.
Torbay offers economic port dues and safe anchorage suitable for repairs etc, with good water visibility, ideal for inwater repair and surveys in lieu of dry-docking.
